Quilting Classes Close to Home
We are excited to offer basic quilting and project classes that are close to home.
Starting in March
Beginning Quilt Piecing (7 week course, prior sewing experience is not necessary)
Learn to express yourself through the “Art of Quilting”. Starting with the basics, learn about fabric, colors, rotary cutting skills, quilt construction and much more. During the class you will make your own sampler quilt using the techniques learned in class. Once course is completed, you will have mastered the skills to complete any traditional quilt pattern and the confidence to move toward more difficult quilt patterns.
Beginning Quilt Piecing class is 7 sessions of 2 hours each.
Fee: $150.00 includes book.

Beginning Sewing 101
This is for the true“ beginner” We begin with the basics learning how to properly use your sewing machine and it’s accessories while making projects during each session. You will learn basic sewing fundamentals and build on those skills each week. Learn how to use all those feet that came with your machine, how to apply zippers, buttons, how to fit and read patterns, make buttonholes, French seams.. .just to name a few. So get creative and express yourself through working with
fabrics, your sewing machine, and your imagination.
Session 1 Learn your machine and how to care for it.
Session 2. Patterns reading, basic garment construction
Session 3. Closures, Zippers and more.
Fee: $25 per class or $60.00 for all 3 sessions.

Sew as you go
Building on skill learned in Beginning sewing, now continue your journey. Learn a
technique and make a project during each class. With the holidays around the corner, this
is a perfect way to get started on your shopping list. We offer a different project each week. Join the fun and “make it yourself”. Join us for one class or all.
Class fees: $25.00 or sign up for 3 classes for $60.00.

The “Perfect Fit” Jacket (3 classes)
This simple jacket can be quilted, embellished, or plain. Make a muslin pattern that is fit to you and can be used again and again. Using this basic pattern you can make several that are all unique. The perfect jacket is great with jeans or out to dinner. Don’t miss this chance to “create yourself” your jacket fit perfectly to you.
Class fee: $60.00

Bottoms Up! (4 hour class)
Looking for that perfect gift for friends and family? We have the answer for you. Join us for a fun evening of “Bottoms Up” We will spend the evening learning to make boxer shorts and pajama bottoms. They make perfect a perfect gift for that someone on your list.
Class Fee: $ 40.00 (includes pattern)

Make It Take It (1st and 3rd Saturdays, 1-3pm)
This is a 2 hour simple project and all supplies are included. Join us on our designated Make It Take It Saturdays from 1-3pm. Be sure to check schedule for project details and dates.
Class Fee: $20.00 for one or bring a friend and only pay $15.00each.
